jim tuhtan is the guitar instructor at jitterbox music.

jim began playing guitar in 1969, teaching himself the basic chords and scales. after a few years of playing he sought out instruction and eventually studied theory and harmony. jim now plays jazz but has explored many idioms, including: bluegrass, old-timey, ragtime, folk, rock, blues, classical and world music.
